lol.... Waynette I'm glad someone else plays this... I was afraid that everyone would think I had lost my mind! (by the way- it you see it running around would you send it home!)
Sue... I would say this is one of those odd Alabama things except Waynette said they do it and I THINK she in Arkansas.
Supposedly, when you talk to someone for the first time on Christmas Eve - the first one to say CHRISTMAS EVE PRESENT (or GIFT)gets some kind of Gift from the other.
We don't actually do the gift swap but we (well some of us) try to be the first to say it. I guess it's one of those TRADITION things that one day you start by accident and just kind of continue!
I guess you noticed that Jim hasn't chimed in a comment on this. He is the one that says "Hmmmp that is so silly" and he may be thinking that since he didn't comment he can still "get" me when I talk to him on the phone after while.... BUT you and I both that he has probably trolled through here and I GOT HIM!

Yes, you did. I didn't know anyone else played this little game. In our family we say "Christmas Eve Gift".

I pray you have a very Merry Christmas this year!
LOL - We actually open our gifts on Christmas eve, late at night. We attend church services and enjoy the evening in.
Huh? What game? Ya'll open presents on Christmas Eve morning?
