Fun afternoon!

I had a great time this afternoon watching children play on this playground. It was shirt sleeve warm even though it was very cloudy. There is nothing like watching and listening to small children squealing with delight as they whirl around and round on the merry-go-round, or swinging high and trying to touch the sky, or zooming down the slippery slide!

Ann, I MISS those days!!! Thank you for the beautiful visual! I have to admit though, I don't think, had I been there, that I could have just watched.. I would have been right there in the middle of all the kids playing right along with them! I'm beginning to wonder if I'll EVER grow up! LOL

Next time we need to see a picture of YOU zooming down that slippery slide!!!!!

Watching kids play is like watching a fire. Mesmerizing. I love it!
Ann, do you you remember that delightful video Jim did a good while back of kids playing? He set it to music and shot it with some kind of filter that made it look like a painting. You might be in just the mood to go look at that one again!

Angie - I'm usually the one acting as much as kid as the children on the playground. But it's hard to take your own picture while zooming down the slides!

But next time I will try.... Just for YOU!

Sue.. I do remember that! If I was about to call it a night I would dig that video up and watch.

But finally ALL the kids are gone and I have run away to the cabin BY MY SELF and enjoying the absolute QUIET! But since I have to head back to work in the morning, I will be up at the crack of dawn and I'm about to go to bed. (actually to the couch to sleep cuz then you don't have a bed to make up and I'm lazy when I'm at the cabin by myself :-)

Okay, Annie-pooh. You go tuck yourself in and get some rest.
Cabin Couches are the best:)

I personally think couch sleeping totally rocks!

LOL @ "Annie-Pooh"

YAY, I get to see AnniePooh zooming down a slide someday, I can't wait!!!

Rest with Angels my friend.

Oh that looks like fun. I guess that's the new school playground near you. I miss all the old metal equipment we grew up playing on. Is that merry-go-round from the old park? It looks old fashioned.

The playground is the one just down the street but that is not the old merry go round. I think that one is still on the OLDDD playground that is now used/owned by the First Methodist Church.

man... if we'd had a swingset, or park like that when we were kids.. we'd never come in the house!
I'm with Angie, yep I'd be right there amongst all those kids playing right along.
I honestly don't believe everyone ever grows up. Some may get old and grouchy, but deep down they still have a kid in them. LOL
